This is a generic Rank 4 Xyz monster, so it should be included in all decks that run Level 4 monsters. Crow and Skull Meister have similar tech usages, but this locks out the entire GY for the turn, which can end turns. This comes with 2 charges of quick effect GY lockout, which is one of the strongest abilities around. Abyss Dweller: While we had the Shark Fin Box, and this does buff Water monsters when having Water Xyz materials, this is more important for the GY lockout effect.Overall, the ability to debuff monsters and detach Xyz materials gives it much potential for the future. This card possibly can be played in Chaos type decks like Thunder Dragons. Given we don’t know how easy it is to use this card outside of the Photon archetype, we should expect the usage to be limited. The ability to activate the banish on both sides of the attack will provide this card with some survivability. This banish is good against Xyz monsters, as you not only remove the Xyz materials, but you also buff this monster. While this card boasts 3000 attack to be the aggressor, it also specializes in a control double-banish, instead of carrying out the attack. Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon: Kite Tenjo’s ace monster is locked in a box, so there are support options within the Photon archetype to ramp out 2000 attack monsters.Tier 3: Invoked Neos (4.7), Blackwings (3.9).Top 4 – Ai Zen w/ Ultimate Dragons BEWD: Glow-Up Bulb makes an appearance, a card that is a general Level 1 Tuner, often discarded, which is so common in this archetype.Top 4 – Aboode Shawa w/ Level Duplication Thunder Dragons: We’re seeing smaller decks with Thunder Dragons, and this one has basically what you need without anything unique or special.2nd – Fouad Boulefaa w/ Ultimate Dragons BEWD: Hallowed Life Barrier isn’t a core card by any means, but actually works great in BEWD, allowing discard for stall, which the deck does sometimes.1st – Zain Ali w/ Balance Noble Knights: A rare Hey, Trunade with 1x Cosmic Cyclone variant, packing Brothers over Pellinore.Top 4 – ur_moms_bf w/ Level Duplication Thunder Dragon: This deck comes a little spicier than most Thunder Dragon decks, packing 2x Hieratic Dragon of Tefnuit and 1x Galaxy Serpent.Top 4 – Deadfun w/ Master of Destiny Desperado: Teched out with Ally of Justice Quarantine, that may be the only way this deck can fight the tournament meta.2nd – Ushiiez w/ Balance Noble Knights: The Hey, Truande! with Brothers build.A fairly lean control deck with exceptional deck thinning capability. 1st – Ristar w/ FIRE Reload Invoked Neos: We haven’t seen this deck in a minute due to the nerfs and meta changes and all. Powerful Rebirth is interesting to have again in the meta.
